Dr. Juan Carlos Acevedo Crespo is a highly experienced physician at Pulmonary Physicians of South Florida (PPSF), bringing 35 years of dedicated medical practice to the community. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Central Del Caribe in Puerto Rico before completing his internship at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. Dr. Acevedo Crespo subsequently completed advanced fellowship training in Critical Care (Baylor College of Medicine/University of South Florida) and Sleep Disorders (Mount Sinai Medical Center), fully equipping him to manage highly complex respiratory and sleep conditions.

Board-certified in Internal Medicine and board-eligible in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Disorders, Dr. Acevedo Crespo focuses his practice heavily on the diagnosis, management, and treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). He is committed to providing thorough, individualized evaluations to significantly improve his patients’ rest and overall quality of life. He remains actively involved in continuous professional development as a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the American College of Chest Physicians.
