Raymond Latanae Parker, M.D.

Dr. Raymond Latanae Parker is a legendary figure in respiratory care, bringing a remarkable 50 years of dedicated medical experience to Pulmonary Physicians of South Florida (PPSF). He earned his medical degree from the prestigious Tulane Medical School. Dr. Parker subsequently completed his internship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital and a rigorous fellowship at Boston University/Boston City Hospital. He is double board-certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease, marking a lifelong commitment to clinical excellence and patient well-being.

Dr. Parker’s specialized areas of interest include the diagnosis and management of asthma, bronchiectasis, COPD, and comprehensive sleep medicine. A highly skilled proceduralist, he is adept at performing diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopies. Over his extensive, celebrated career, he has served as the Director of Cardiopulmonary at West Kendall, Mariners, and Fishermen’s Hospitals. He is currently affiliated with West Kendall Baptist Hospital, South Miami Hospital, Baptist Hospital, Mariner’s Hospital, and Fishermen’s Hospital, and is a proud Fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians.

Fluent in English, Dr. Parker’s medical philosophy is rooted in a deep, unwavering dedication to his patients, strongly believing that “your health is my number one interest.” When he is not actively caring for patients, he enjoys exercising, boating, and cherishing time with his family.
