Fred Grynberg, M.D.

Dr. Fred Grynberg is a distinguished, double board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Diseases, bringing 27 years of specialized medical expertise to Pulmonary Physicians of South Florida (PPSF). He earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, before completing his Internal Medicine internship at Brookdale Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Grynberg further advanced his clinical training by completing a fellowship in Pulmonary Disease at the McGill University Faculty of Medicine in Montreal, Canada.

Throughout his career in Miami-Dade County, Dr. Grynberg has focused on evaluating and managing a wide spectrum of complex respiratory and sleep conditions. His clinical areas of interest include Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), and critical care medicine. In addition to providing outpatient and hospital-based pulmonary care, Dr. Grynberg has served in major executive leadership roles within local health systems, including appointments as Chief of Staff at North Shore Hospital and Vice Chair of Medicine at Mercy Hospital.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Grynberg is deeply committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to South Florida’s diverse population. He warmly welcomes new patients to the practice and strives to optimize their respiratory function and overall well-being. Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Grynberg enjoys staying active through tennis and bicycling.
