Marc S. Tarras, M.D.

Dr. Marc S. Tarras is a highly regarded, board-certified specialist in Pulmonary Disease and Internal Medicine practicing at Pulmonary Physicians of South Florida (PPSF). After earning his medical degree, Dr. Tarras completed rigorous residency training in internal medicine followed by an intensive fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine. With years of dedicated practice in South Florida, he plays an integral role in PPSF’s mission to provide world-class pulmonary and sleep diagnostic services throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe counties.

Dr. Tarras offers comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for conditions such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), severe asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, chronic cough, and sleep-disordered breathing. He routinely performs advanced diagnostic evaluations, including Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), 6-minute walk exercise tests, diagnostic bronchoscopies, and lung cancer screenings. In addition, Dr. Tarras leverages PPSF’s AASM-accredited Sleep Disorder Diagnostic Centers to evaluate sleep apnea and implement long-term remote CPAP monitoring. He is affiliated with major local hospital systems and remains an active member of leading professional societies, including CHEST and the American Thoracic Society.
