Reginald Pereira Jr., M.D.

Dr. Reginald Pereira, Jr. is a dynamic, triple board-certified physician specializing in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, and Critical Care Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where he also completed his internship and residency. Driven by a passion for advanced respiratory care, he pursued and completed a highly competitive fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. Since returning home, Dr. Pereira, Jr. has been an integral part of Pulmonary Physicians of South Florida (PPSF), providing cutting-edge pulmonary treatments to the local community.

With a strong clinical focus on Sarcoidosis, Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD), and Sleep Disorders, Dr. Pereira, Jr. is dedicated to helping patients breathe easier and sleep soundly. His advanced procedural expertise includes diagnostic bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and specialized ICU-related interventions. He holds esteemed hospital affiliations with Coral Gables Hospital, Mercy Hospital, SSH-Miami, Palmetto General Hospital, and Baptist Hospitals. As a proud member of the American Thoracic Society and the American College of Chest Physicians, he remains at the forefront of pulmonary medicine.

Fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Creole, Dr. Pereira, Jr. brings a compassionate, multicultural approach to his practice.
