Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care, he earned his medical degree from the University of Miami. Dr. Penaranda completed his internship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center, followed by prestigious fellowships in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Maryland and the University of Miami, which included highly specialized training in the Neurosurgery Intensive Care Unit.

Dr. Penaranda’s clinical expertise centers firmly on Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine. He is highly proficient in performing essential diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopies, ensuring accurate evaluation and swift management of complex lung diseases.
