Zael Vazquez, M.D.

Dr. Zael Vazquez is a distinguished, triple board-certified physician specializing in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, and Critical Care Medicine at Pulmonary Physicians of South Florida (PPSF). He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and subsequently completed his medical internship at Drexel University. Dr. Vazquez went on to complete a rigorous fellowship at Temple University, where he received elite, comprehensive training in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of severe respiratory conditions.

With 12 years of clinical practice, Dr. Vazquez has cultivated a strong special interest in advanced lung diseases. He offers state-of-the-art diagnostic interventions, maintaining highly specialized skills in Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) and Navigational Bronchoscopy. Dr. Vazquez is actively affiliated with the Memorial Healthcare System—including Memorial Miramar, West, Pembroke, Regional, and South—as well as Select LTAC Specialty Hospital. He remains at the leading edge of respiratory care as a member of the American Medical Association, American Thoracic Society, and American College of Chest Physicians.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Vazquez provides evidence-based, compassionate care tailored entirely to the individual needs of his South Florida patients.
