Chantell Ortega-Gonzalez, APRN, is a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at Pulmonary Physicians of South Florida (PPSF). With 15 years of rigorous clinical experience, Chantell provides exceptional care for patients facing complex respiratory and sleep challenges. She completed her medical education at Loyola University New Orleans and Florida International University (FIU). Board-certified by the ANCC, she is an indispensable part of the PPSF medical team, working closely alongside Dr. Jorge M. Ortega to deliver comprehensive, localized pulmonary care.

Chantell possesses extensive background experience in both medical and surgical Intensive Care Units (ICU), equipping her with the critical clinical skills required to manage severe respiratory conditions. Her special areas of clinical interest include obstructive sleep apnea, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary fibrosis, and obesity management. She is affiliated with leading local facilities, including Coral Gables Hospital, Mercy Hospital, and SSH-Miami, and holds active memberships with the Florida Nurses Association (FNA) and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Chantell is dedicated to fostering clear communication and building lasting trust with her patients in South Florida.
