Juan Carlos Rodríguez, M.D.

Dr. Juan Carlos Rodríguez is a distinguished, quadruple board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine at Pulmonary Physicians of South Florida (PPSF). With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Rodríguez earned his medical degree from Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Bogotá, Colombia. He completed his internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, followed by advanced fellowship training in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Practicing out of PPSF’s Pembroke Pines office, Dr. Rodríguez specializes in general pulmonology, Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), COPD, asthma, and critical care medicine. He performs key interventional and diagnostic procedures, including diagnostic bronchoscopy, Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT), and 6-minute walk tests. Utilizing PPSF’s AASM-accredited Sleep Disorder Diagnostic Centers, he designs comprehensive sleep therapy plans, incorporating home sleep studies and remote CPAP monitoring. Dr. Rodríguez maintains active hospital affiliations with Memorial Hospital Miramar, Memorial Hospital Pembroke, and Memorial Hospital West.
