Daniel Heller, M.D.

Dr. Daniel Heller is a highly skilled, board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine at Pulmonary Physicians of South Florida (PPSF). Practicing out of PPSF’s primary Miami office at the Galloway Professional Center, Dr. Heller brings extensive clinical experience to South Florida’s largest board-certified pulmonary group. He completed rigorous medical training, residency, and fellowship programs, establishing a strong foundation in diagnosing and treating complex chest conditions and acute respiratory failure.

Dr. Heller’s clinical focus encompasses Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), severe asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, solitary pulmonary nodules, and chronic cough. In addition to outpatient consultations, he performs advanced diagnostic evaluations, including Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), 6-minute walk tests, diagnostic bronchoscopies, and lung cancer screenings. Working closely with PPSF’s American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) accredited Sleep Disorder Diagnostic Centers, Dr. Heller also evaluates patients suffering from Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and manages remote CPAP monitoring programs. He maintains active hospital privileges across major Miami-Dade healthcare facilities.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Heller is deeply committed to compassionate, patient-centered care. He works collaboratively with patients and referring physicians to build tailored treatment plans that restore lung health and improve daily quality of life.
